          "AN AMERICAN NEWSPAPER FOR AMERICANS"

The Valley Breeze is dedicated to serving our readers with good, All-American content, involving American things, written in the American language - American English. We are dedicated to the American Flag, American rights and the American Constitution. We will do our utmost to adhere to it and its guidelines as we see them.   It is our sincerest wish that you agree with our views, but if not, you have the right to respectfully disagree with us. We hope you will continue to read us, none the less.

Mission:    Our aim is to promote the community and to help maintain a healthy business atmosphere. Our partners are the public and the business community and we will strive to enhance the quality of life in Desert Hot Springs and the surrounding area.

Birth:    The Valley Breeze was officially created in January 2000 and is Desert Hot Springs’ original home-owned and published newspaper, since The Desert Sentinel was active, covering local events in detail. A twice - monthly publication, The Valley Breeze serves local business, valley residents, outlying county areas and city and community, reporting functions and events we feel are of public reader interest. Locally owned and published in Desert Hot Springs, eagerly anticipated by Snowbirds, the Valley Breeze is recognized by readers, subscribers and advertisers as the best-read journal and the most advantageous advertising vehicle in a ten mile radius.

Features:    The Valley Breeze is loaded with features; from writers of local and world-wide reputation to cartoons, comics, local news and ongoing stories of the history of the Coachella Valley and Desert Hot Springs. Published authors, Historical writers, Medical Advice, Humor, Health, Opinions and Letters to the Editor are all here. Our cartoon features and editorial artwork, unless otherwise stated, are originals, created by the owner and publisher.

Circulation:     The Valley Breeze, with a general circulation of 6,000 to 7,000, (in season) and an estimated readership of 15,000, is thoroughly circulated throughout the Desert Hot Springs business district. Dillon Road takes it to the valley's largest cluster of mobile home parks, Indian Canyon Drive, from the Mission Lakes Country Club & Pro Shop to the I-10 freeway. The Valley Breeze is now in high-impact locations of Palm Springs, North Palm Springs, Thousand Palms and selected sites in Palm Desert and Cathedral City.

Letters To The Editor:     Letters to the editor are welcomed for the Valley Breeze Opinion Page. They should be original letters for the Valley Breeze and must pertain to one subject. It must include the writers’ name, home address and phone number for verification. To assure writer's privacy, your address and phone number will not be published. Because of our printing schedule, we cannot promise a publishing date. Letters will be reviewed by staff before publishing. Nothing considered libelous or in bad taste will be published. No personal attacks on individuals or businesses will be printed. Letters must be no longer than 300 words and cannot be returned, but will become the property of the Valley Breeze. The preferred method of communication is by email. Thank you.
