TOPS CA #1506 Desert Hot Springs

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS

The officers for the year 2006-2007 were installed on Thursday March, 30th at the Desert Hot Springs Senior Center.Thirty members of the Chapter were in attendance.  The officers to be installed were dressed in the chapter colors of white and royal blue.White candles in white and blue holders surrounded the table. Officers installed were Beverly Gussler, Leader, Mary Jane Petrocelly, Co-leader, Lois Farber, Weight Recorder, Jean Foot, Secretary, Lucy Winder, Treasurer, with Team member Ursala Barnes, Scale person, and Mary Frederick, Assistant Weight Recorder.

Mary Frank, installing officer, reminded the newly installed officers of their duties and responsibilities to the TOPS organization as they repeated their Pledge of Office.

A light salad luncheon was served  along with a decorated cake commemorating Chapter #1506, Desert Hot Springs on their 35th year in existence.  Several of the early members were present.

Prior to the Installation and luncheon the out-going Leader presented each of her board members with a mini rose bush."Thank you" she said, "I could not have done it without you"
